shoulder exercise: lateral raises pilgrim

PLYMOUTH ROCKED 2

DB SIDE LATERAL RAISES
5 SETS X 5, 10 REPS (HEAVY, LIGHT) REST 60S
5 REPS HEAVY THEN 10 REPS LIGHT (50-60% OF HEAVY)


Thanksgiving Day workout. Heavy reps then light reps right away.

Those heavy reps fatigue the delts so when you hammer the lighter set it's going to be murder.

This technique works great for other exercises especially with machines because it's easy to change weight.


shoulder exercise: dumbbell shoulders punch hercules

HERCULES PUNCH

DB SHOULDER PUNCHES
4 SETS X 8 REPS - REST 45s
ALTERNATING PUNCH OR DOUBLE PUNCH


Anyone ever try this exercise before? I call it the Hercules Punch.

I warn you not to use heavy dumbbells. My illustrations are exaggerations.

So start with light weight and keep it controlled. Be safe.

This exercise goes well with other shoulder exercises as in compound sets or a giant shoulder set.

It targets the front delt. You're basically lengthening the lever.

Instead of front raising, you're extending the arm out. Science stuff lol.

A1. DB Shoulder Presses
A2. DB Side Lateral Raises
A3. DB Bent Over Raises
A4. DB Hercules Punches
