Savage Mind

Thought I'd share one of my ancient chest routines... because I'm old.

Always good to share with savages willing to listen.

You know I like to Keep It Simple Savage.

Pyramid Up then Pyramid down on Bench.

Start with the bar. Keep slapping a 10lb plate on each side. Do 8 reps. Repeat until you peak.

Once you peak. Just do 8 reps. Strip off a 10lb plate on each side. Repeat until the bar is empty.

For the big boys replace 10lb plates with 25lbs instead.

You can also rep to failure as you drop set down or shorten rest periods.

Now imagine & make it yours.

Chest: Pyramid Bench God

A. Bench Press - Pyramid Up: add 20lbs x 8 reps/ set to peak
- rest 60 seconds
B. Bench Press - Pyramid Down: reduce 20lbs x 8 reps/ set to failure
- no rest
- use the same plate increments either 10lb or 25lb plates
