Keep it simple when shooting for your goals.

EAT. SLEEP. CONQUER. REPEAT. Easier said than done isn't it? It's a quote that Paul Heyman from WWE uses to describe Brock Lesnar's conquests. Yes it's to hype Brock Lesnar, yes wrestling is scripted. Who cares. The internet is filled with motivation and garbage. It's what your eyes want to see. It's what your drive tells you to do. It's the sacrifice you are willing to give up. It's the part of you that smiles inside when you're training. It's

EAT: replenish your body

SLEEP: recover your body

CONQUER: (or train) over and over, push your body, challenge yourself, break through challenges and plateaus

REPEAT: repeat. repeat. repeat. It's fine you do it once but training isn't a one time thing whether it's for vanity or competition.

Here's the skinny. Without nutrients your body cannot grow. And when you eat bad you are limiting your progress. It gets worse as you get older so start eating sensibly when you're young. You can take steroids if you consider that eating but why admit to yourself you are genetic garbage. Shortcuts always have pitfalls.

Sleeping recovers your energy systems. Your muscle grow while you sleep. Sleep for 7-8 hours on a regular basis. You are cutting your growth with the lack of sleep. With stress and life sometimes that's difficult. If you party all the time and you're not growing then you're probably crippling your progress.

Conquer your workouts, your challenges, your PRs, your training that's the fun part. It's nasty, it's dirty, you may get hurt but that's part of the process. 1 more rep, 5 more pounds, less rest whatever it takes to punish yourself to make your muscle and mind grow stronger. You will always be a better person for it.

Repeat. Repeat. Repeat until you die.
