The Benefits of Leg Presses Performed Slowly

A little GOAT doing some Leg Presses. My lower back has been jacked and didn’t want to take the chance squatting just yet.

Leg Presses from hell

I rarely use the Leg Press (I’d rather squat). But when I do, I perform them slowly. You'll push tremendous amounts of blood through the legs while not loading your back.

Furthermore, using time under tension techniques with the leg press one can play around with different foot positions, deeper range of motion, and even 2 leg to single legged presses while feeling safe.

No need to go fast otherwise you'll run out of plates and your leg presses start looking like calf raises. Truthfully, the worst part is putting all the plates away. Go slow jedi.
